  • Paula grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis and remains a faithful St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan.

  • Paula enjoyed school, especially when it was Tuesday and the Brownie meetings were after school! She was active in many organizations and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Who’s Who among American High School Students. Paula spent her senior year in college and returned to Hancock Place for graduation in 1974, graduating third in her class.

  • Paula’s commitment to the democratic system of the election process started early. As a high school student at Hancock Place, Paula worked on referendums to support school funding issues. As a college student at Southwest Missouri State University (n/k/a Missouri State University), Paula ordered absentee ballots to make sure her vote counted. She also worked one election at a Springfield television station assisting with election results with other Honey Bears. Paula has volunteered for the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections for most elections since she has lived in Pasco.

  • Paula enjoyed playing sports in her youth. Her pitching career continued into college at Southwest Missouri State University (n/k/a Missouri State University). Articles like these were always welcome!

  • Paula worked hard in college earning her Bachelor’s Degree at age 20. She served as a Honey Bear, giving university tours to prospective students/parents and hosting special events for students, parents, faculty, and alumni.
